Yellow Pine: Snowed on and off most of the day Friday, by Saturday morning we had an inch of snow on the ground. Most of that snow melted, but there is still 1/2″ snow in the shade Sunday morning. Local streets are clear and damp. Forecast for dry weather the next 4 days.
Johnson Creek Road: No current report. Probably some snow up high. Last report the road is rough with pot holes.
Big Creek Summit SNOTEL station 6580′
South Fork / EFSF Road: Last report roads are in good shape. Watch for ice early morning in the shade. EFSF road is holding up well.
Lick Creek: Report from last weekend: A little snow up high. (Probably more snow now.) Rough road near the summit on both sides. EFSF road from Zena Creek to YP is in good shape.
Note: Lick Creek Summit has an elevation of 6,877 feet
** UPDATED ** Profile Creek Road: Profile gap still passable as of Sunday (10/15) afternoon.
Note: The elevation at Profile summit is 7607 feet.
Stibnite to Thunder Mountain: Probably closed with snow. No current report.
Note: The elevation at Monumental Summit is 8590 feet.
Big Creek to Elk Summit to Warrens Road: This is the road beyond Warren down to the South Fork of the Salmon River near Trails End Subdivision. [Then up to Elk Summit and over to Big Creek/Edwardsburg.]
Report that the road was closed Monday Oct 2 for repairs, and will probably be closed for most of October.
Note: Elk Summit is at an elevation of nearly 9000 feet.
Deadwood Summit: Report from from DP on Friday (Oct 13) of a foot of snow at the summit and snowing hard.
Note: The Approx Elevation at Deadwood Summit is 6,883 feet (2,098 m)
Deadwood Summit SNOTEL station 6860′
Golden Gate Road: The road is only passable on foot due to large deep wash-out about 2/3rds of the way up.
Sugar Creek Road: Closed to public access.
