Yellow Pine:  We currently have an average of 9″ of snow (and ice) on the ground. Roads are snow covered and slick in places. Click for Local Forecast.

Warm Lake Highway: Road plowed today, pavement is snow covered.
Big Creek Summit SNOTEL station 6580′

South Fork Road: (Dec 27) County plowed the upper end this morning.

EFSF Road: (Dec 27) County plowed some on the EFSF road this morning, may plow more on the way out.

Johnson Creek Road: Upper end closed at Landmark to wheeled vehicles for the winter.
The elevation at Landmark is 6,630 feet
Lower Johnson Creek road (no current report) old report said snow had filled in the pot holes. Smooth drive to the dump last week.

Johnson Creek Snowmobile Trail Report (Dec 14): Trail is cleared from Yellow Pine to Landmark.

Lick Creek: Closed for winter to wheeled vehicles.

Profile Creek Road: Closed for winter to wheeled vehicles.
Note: The elevation at Profile summit is 7607 feet.

Yellow Pine to Stibnite: Last report Dec 13: Open, chains advised, icy.

Stibnite to Thunder Mountain: Closed at Stibnite with snow. Truck reported to be stuck for the winter on the other side of Monumental.
Note: The elevation at Monumental Summit is 8590 feet.

Big Creek to Elk Summit to Warrens Road: Closed. (This is the road that goes from Big Creek/Edwardsburg up over Elk Summer, down to the South Fork of the Salmon River by Trails End Subdivision, then over to Warrens.)
Note: The elevation at Elk Summit is nearly 9000 feet.

Deadwood Summit: No current report.
Note: The approx elevation at Deadwood Summit is 6,883 feet.
