Yellow Pine: The high Feb 3rd was 50 degrees! Warm and sprinkling rain today. Measured an average of 8.5″ of wet snow on the ground. Local streets are snow covered, breaking up in some places and icy in others. Click for Local Forecast.
Warm Lake Highway: No current report. (Jan 31) mail truck driver reports Warm Lake Highway is “in good shape”.
Big Creek Summit SNOTEL station 6580′
South Fork Road: No current report. (Feb 2) mail truck driver said the South Fork road was slow going, snow and ice up high. Bare spots on the lower end are drying out.
Tea Pot Weather Station (5175′)
EFSF Road: No current report. (Feb 2) mail truck driver said the recent snow helped a little, but the road is still pretty icy in places and slick.
Lower Johnson Creek Road: No current report. (Jan 24) a report that the lower part was plowed out to Wapiti Meadow, road is/was smooth and snow floor has good traction. (Probably some icy places by now.)
Upper Johnson Creek Road: Closed at Landmark to wheeled vehicles for the winter.
