Note: Spring road conditions change quickly. It is “Rock Migration” season! Be prepared for icy roads, snow at high elevations and rocks/trees falling in the road. Please share road reports.

Yellow Pine: Local streets are mostly bare and muddy, icy patches in the shade. We had quite a bit of rain in the last 24 hours, pot holes full of water. Snow line was about 5000′ this morning. Patches of snow remain in the shade. Click for Local Forecast.

Warm Lake Highway: (Apr 4) mail truck driver (Ray) says the highway is in “good shape”. Note: there may be some new snow this morning.
Big Creek Summit SNOTEL station 6580′

South Fork Road: No current report, but folks that left to go out this morning have not come back, so the road must still be open.
Tea Pot Weather Station 5175′

EFSF Road: (Apr 8) report from the Fish People that the road is open all the way to the Secesh, no big rocks reported.

Lower Johnson Creek Road: No current report, probably a lot of bare ground and patchy ice/slush in the shade.
Upper Johnson Creek Road: Closed at Landmark for winter to full sized vehicles.
The elevation at Landmark is 6,630 feet
Snowmobile Trail Report: No current report, conditions have changed.
