Reports of deeper snow on top of Lick Creek and Landmark – probably not advisable unless 4×4 w/chains. Higher elevation roads are probably closed. Please share road reports. Conditions change quickly this time of year.
Yellow Pine: It has been snowing this weekend, this morning we have 3″ of snow on the ground on top of ice. (Probably a lot more in higher elevations.) Local streets are snow covered, packed tracks and icy in some places. Click for Local Forecast.

Warm Lake Highway: Report Wednesday (Nov 28) the mail truck driver (Robert) reports snow on the road all the way from Cascade to the South Fork turnoff.

South Fork Road: Wednesday (Nov 28) mail truck driver (Robert) says the South Fork is bare from the EFSF junction up until about Reed Ranch, then snow all the way to the top.

EFSF Road: Wednesday (Nov 28) mail truck driver (Robert) says the road is very icy from YP for about 2/3rds of the way out to the South Fork turnoff.
Johnson Creek Road: Note to drivers – when traveling to the dump, please use the river side of the road for wheeled vehicles so the hill side can be for snowmobilers. Turnouts will be plowed.
Report Monday (Nov 26) from mail truck driver (Robert) last trip in via Johnson crk. There is about 6″ of new snow at N. Shore. Not advisable to travel with wheeled vehicles.

Lick Creek: Probably closed or near to being closed. Report Friday (Nov 23) “Lick Ck summit yesterday. All four tires chained up and 4 wheel drive. Then it continued to snow the rest of the day and part of the night.” – N
